Sorry it took me so long to post this; the past week has been a little busy with schoolwork
I wanted to make some reference sheets for Varian, Shay, Shay's mom, Caius, and maybe Rapunzel and Eugene to celebrate season 2. We'll see how things go!I forgot to mention Rudiger on here; I'll probably feature him on a different sheet. I promise I didn't forget our little raccoon friend! I'm also well aware that Varian is probably not actually that muscular in the show, though it's hard to tell with the style. Just for fun,Β here's what Varian's official reference sheet looks like. Mine's different, and it kind of makes me laugh!

Dayum Β Is it me or does he look more than 5 years old than canon Varian. He's supposed to be 14 but this Varian looks 20! Nice art though, better than anythingΒ I can do.

LOL yeah, I tried, but my dudes always end up looking just a little older. That sweet spot between little kid and adult can be hard to hit

He hasn't had too many ham sandwiches- that would make him fat! I'm guessing he's been taking hormone growth pills and he's been working out. Alchemist boi went from skinny as a bean to an absolute unit!Β Β Drawing teens can be quite hard though. Don't let this get you down. I'm sorry if you feel that way- just in case I did. That wasn't my intention. Your art is amazing and you don't respond negatively to criticism, unlike some other artists I've seen (hint: the "it's my style! Lay off!" excuse)! Keep it up!Β Β Β Β Β Β
