I was lucky enough to already have the fabrics and my friend was available and crazy to help me with sewing! She does such a great job!
The painting in the front and back of the top took me one day and half, since I had to wait a lot for each paint coat to dry. But I still don't have the guts to tear it down the back as it is in the game (lots of wear and tear in her outfit).
And the wig was also fast to get (I already had one in mind but in the last minute a friend showed up selling one much better!).
So I guess it was all a lucky strike plus a lot of effort hahahah

That is awesome! Is your friend one of your cosplaying partners? You all have such amazing costumes. I think you all do such a great job portraying the characters you cosplay, RizzyOkuni does such a good 2B!
Haha I can understand why you would be reluctant to tear your costume! Especially if you are pleased with how it is looking now. If something went wrong that would be terrible, it is almost like you need to have a second top that you can have torn so if anything goes wrong the one in the photo would still be okay.
Oh that is lucky! The wig is a good one I thought! Also is the detailing on your arms and legs done with make up or is it part of a material you are wearing? I cannot quite tell, it is very well done though!
Haha Well often I find great work comes from a mix of luck and effort. I am so pleased you ended up with such a great cosplay from it though!

What you said is totally true, I'd have to have two shirts in order to be sure of what to do. Well, I still have more of that fabric, I could try that out later on!
The arms where made using a Posca pen straight in my skin. It should be different from what I planned but I had to do that on me and and I'm right handed, so only half of it was right, and I wanted the lines to be thicker but there was no time and we were in the middle of the convention, yadda yadda yadda ahah!
The leg part is a pantyhose that I drew the lines using the same pen. I also wanna redraw it better. At least for the photoshoot things will be easier, nothing rushy like conventions.

Ooh that would be very cool to see if you do end up trying it out! I love seeing work-in-progress cosplays and the work that goes into creating the costume, I think it would be very interesting to see the two tops together.
Of course, do not do more work than you have to if you are busy!
Ahh right! Yeah of course that would be the case if you're right-handed, I suppose the ideal solution is to have someone draw them on for you. I like how the lines look, but I suppose thicker lines would stand out more. Plus from how fast you had to put out the cosplay I am just impressed you had time to add those kinds of details!
Ahh see I thought it may have been the pantyhose, but then I saw it on your arms/shoulders and thought that wouldn't be pantyhose. Ah very true, with a photoshoot you have more time to prepare I suppose! Though you should still be so proud of the job you did with what little time you had! Does this mean you have a photoshoot coming up as A2? Will it be just A2 or will you be joined by B2 too? :3 You make an adorable pair, it is a very cute ship ^^
