Title. Lol.I'm sorry.
Edit: Thank you ^Astralseed for the DD. Oh my god, guys I feel bad for my stupid description now. Usually I try to do a little better than that.
Slightly anyway.
Anyway for those of you who are curious this was done on bristol with crow quill and brush pen with Speedball Superblack and Daler Rowney FW Acrylic ink. Color adjustments/slight edits done in photoshop.
As for the idea behind this cecaelia has invited a mortal to her home. Only sailors, especially ones who have lost their ships, don't do especially well underwater . . . its alright, she has a whole collection of bones.
(Also my my tumblr for those of you who may think my sketches are hilarious.)

i think what sealed the deal for me was that the guys mouth is open--this is not a romantic kiss of some sort, that guy is /drowning/ and cecaelia has a pile of /bones/ from guys just like him.

Yes? I do most of my inking with dip style pens, I have never been a big fan of microns and the like so I tend to use crow quill and have been trying out brushes.
And yes, poor man, but at least he was dead by that point so he probably didn't feel anything.
