Vortex decided to fly blind and walk away from the Stalking Ponies as fast as he could without making a sound every once in awhile taking a Rock and Throwing it Well Behind him as Far as Possible to Try to throw them off.... Seemingly working for the time...

When he managed to see an Opening he had hoped he made it somewhere where he could outrun the Ponies,
However upon Emerging from the Forest of Mists he was given his very first Glimpse of Darkside

The Reddenned Sky, The Gloomy Looking Surroundings... While initially Terrified Vortex knew staying in his current spot would not be wise so he ventured to the closest Area he could Find.... A Large Forest.
While in it he noticed the Tree's swaying inward towards him at times.... Some even tried to get away from him swaying away from where he was....

Thats when he heard a Voice Behind him

Abigail: My my... Someone looks Troubled...

Vortex Yelped and turned to face where the voice came from seeing a small Purple Pony with Twin Ponytails Emerge wearing a Cowgirl Hat similar to another Pony he knew.

Abigail: Troubled and Frightenned? Well thats nothing unusual in this Spot Hon... Welcome to Darkside Vortex... Glad you decided to come.... hmm hmm hmm

Vortex: How do you know me?

Abigail: Oh thats an easy one Kiddo, Two of my Friends Smelled you out in the Forest of Mists... When I heard you in the Cave I just... Followed and kept Quiet...

Vortex turned to run-

Abigail: Don't Bother... you're already trapped.... Go back the way you came and you're Pony Food... Your Better bet would be to come with me...

At this point Vortex held his head and his Eyes Changed Colour to Red

Dark Vortex: If you think I will just surrender-...

Abigail: Au Contraire Vortex... You don't have a Choice... You're in my World now not your World...

Vortex's Eyes changed back to normal and his lighter Demeanor seemed to regain Control

Abigail: Follow Me Kiddo... Before I have to Argue with your Friend from your Darker Side....

She Ventured Deeper into the Forest, Despite knowing the Danger he was in... she was right... he couldn't Escape with Magnolia and Gertrude still searching for him.... so he Reluctantly Followed Abigail Deep into the Forest.
