This was inspired by my 8 year old son when a couple weeks back I was talking about having felt badly for not visiting my brother's grave in quite awhile. My son said, "Well, someone's there... the angel visits him."Isn't that precious?
I thought it would be cool to do a photomanipulation, which it's been so long, I think I forgot mostly how. I wanted to have some fun and create something totally different for a change, but I kept getting pulled into from-scratch stuff.
Anyway, the tombstone was created with [link] and [link] .. then I painted a new cross in there and added texture.
Right hand and skirt were painted over and partially drawn, if that makes sense. Everything else from scratch.
So, needless to say, it didn't turn out like I wanted at all.
But hopefully someone will like it.
There's a lot of detail on the bodice.

Looks to me like a lot of "someones" likes this, including myself. What I love is how the moon light reflects on her wings. I think the coolest thing about this is, that you only put 1 grave, like that person was all but forgotten, but that beautiful angel of yours is there to pay her respects.

One can only hope when our time comes that an angel visits each and everyone of us when our friends and family do not.
