Description
Here's a project I've been working on at intervals for a number of years, where I've been redrawing every Denjuu sprite to better match their official art. It's still incomplete, but the vast majority are done (though there are a handful I'd like to go back and redo at some point.)You can get the patch here which can be applied to any ROM version of Telefang 1 (Japanese Power, Japanese Speed, English patch Power, bootleg Diamond, or bootleg Jade.)
Please don't reuse any of these sprites for your own purposes!

Thanks! I really need to get back to finishing these since there aren't that many left, I just haven't had the time lately though.

It'd be more awesome if I didn't take years to finish a project :v

Do you have any plans for doing this for the Fighting Foodons\Bistro recipe sprites?

The Bistro Recipe sprites look pretty faithful to their official art from what I've seen, I doubt they need a revamp.

I wonder if English Patch Power Project is complete...

It's not complete yet, you can see the progress here on the official patch page - [link]
Quite playable though, and story text currently goes up to at least Barran desert.

I thought some of these were resizes of bigger artworks. They look very professional!

Thanks They sort of are resizes, in the sense that I'm trying to replicate the official art as closely as possible.

Ooh, I like it. Very GSC'ish too from the looks of things. Was that your main inspiration in the remake of these sprites?

Mostly I'm just trying to get them to look as close to the official art as possible - [link] - which is a challenge with the palette / size restrictions, but I really like 8bit sprites Some of the original sprites are pretty off-model, which is a shame cause I love the Denjuu designs and I wanted to show that they can look awesome even within the GBC graphical limits.
I wasn't actually thinking of the GSC sprites while working on these, but now that's making me wonder how cool it'd be to redraw all of the gen 1-2 PokΓ©mon sprites based on their earliest Sugimori art hmm... like the goofy bean-shaped Pikachu and all those

I've also got versions of their sprites where they're holding little phones (I can't actually remember if the phone ones are in the patch or the ones I used here.) [link]
