I drew this little guy in my sketchbook during a camping trip a couple years ago, but only recently got around to coloring him. I wanted to make his scales look kind of glittery and I think I did pretty well, but his wings didn't turn out quite the way I was hoping. Also, it looks like he has only one ear frill thing, I should've drawn the one behind too x_xRelated content

Very spiffy! I love its face. It reminds me of my pet Chinese Water Dragon. It's little nose horn is a great touch.

Water Dragons are really nice looking animals, I think either one of them or a basilisk would be my first choice if I were considering a pet reptile.

Basilisks are gorgeous lizards, but unfortunatly they're not known for being easily handled. I almost got one of those instead, but wanted a lizard that I could hold without getting either tail whipped, bitten or scratched up. But they're still soooo pretty...

I wish more of your pictures had backgrounds! they work nicely without them, but just think how much a nice leafy backround would add to this lovely little picture.
He is adorible! but Im afraid Id have to get out the industrial swatter if I ever ran into them in the woods.
