Drawn at: [link] out of boredom.Probably the last time or one of the last times I draw my umbreon pokésona.
Bleh...it's spring break but I have nothing to do and my friends (real life and online) have all been gone... I would work on my video but it's kinda depressing being alone, and when I'm sad about something that stops me from being able to draw anything but doodles...
But I'd really like to know if anyone knows of an ACTIVE pokémon roleplay site that doesn't have 6018460170614856016 rules, and is either about wild pokémon(or even mystery dungeon) or trainers who can already have at least one pokémon with them (where I won't get flamed for having a scyther). If anyone can tell me of a site where I can roleplay pokémon (and scythers are ok) PLEASE tell me! I really need to roleplay right now... D:

You were talking about something I had drawn in the past, thus it should be 'failed,' as I was not currently in the act of drawing it. If you had specified that 'I constantly fail at everything I draw,' that wording would have been correct. But your punctuation is still atrocious. Man, I thought we were getting somewhere.

Your English seems fine to me. What you're lacking is punctuation and proper grammar. Again, this is a generic, knee-jerk response that you've given me. It also does not make any logical sense, considering that you type in English just fine. I also never once commented on your English. It is fine. What you're missing is proper sentence structure, as well as what I mentioned above. You are capable of it, as you demonstrate it relatively well in some instances, so the argument that you do not know how to type (not speak, type) proper English is false.

On a quick note, when commenting on people's art, you should comment about the art itself first and foremost, as that is what the comment section is meant for, yet in a constructive way. Point out how the person can improve and do so in a polite manner and they will listen to what you say. If you want to comment about odd-colored umbreons as well, also do that politely. Calmly stating your views about what you think could be improved or how the character could be drawn closer to the normal umbreon look if the artist decides they want that. However, be prepared for people to disagree with you. That's just fine too, but if you state your opinion calmly and eloquently, they'll certainly consider your viewpoint.
Personally, if what you had said to me was something along the lines of "This umbreon is not a serious enough or accurate representation of an umbreon," I would have agreed with you. However, the point is that it was never meant to be, in any way, serious or accurate. It was simply meant for fun and expression, which I believe most of the 'sparklemon' are. In my serious pokemon stories, I do strive for accuracy based on the context of my writing and what I take from the games and anime. If a pokemon is odd colored, there are reasons for it based on examples from the pokemon franchise itself. Outside of that, though, I don't mind being silly and doing things like this and I quite like drawing strange colored umbreons. Now, I say this not to defend myself in any way (I'm perfectly okay with you hating my drawing; there's no reason you have to like it or the concept itself), but to give you an idea on where most of the people who draw things like this are coming from. Not many, at least not that I've come across, are being serious. They're just trying to have fun, and we don't all have to agree that pokemon needs to be serious all the time.
As for the popularity/overused/originality thing, well I can't comment much on that because I like to do what I want regardless of what others may be doing or not doing, so I do not care about overuse or underuse. I imagine others are the same way, however, which is why I bring this up.
Anyway, to sum this up, present your ideas clearly to the person and be open-minded toward them in response. If you are, they are much more likely to listen to you and therefor open up and respond to your ideas as well.

I'd give you points for creativity because at least it broke from the standard "sparklemon, blah blah angst, blah blah overused, ORIGINAL!!!" type comments, but that's just a generic response as well.
