RPG games sure can be so jarring sometimesLike sure the world is literally burning at the moment, you just seen the cutscene - but this is also the only time when you can finish all the sidequests and gacha collections so welp I guess “saving the world” gotta wait ...indefinitely!
Also yeah it’s a slight spoiler but what are you doing if you haven’t played this game yet. Also is it a surprise really “Bad guy starts destroying the world oh no” Who or what their motives are you still need to find out! 🙃

To he honest, i wasn't a fan of the open ending in the game, it's so not satisfying to have beaten a boss and the game is like nope you shall not continue after the boss, you shall continue before the bossfight

Let's be fair; it's a 2-way street. Like, you're the only guy who can save the world and you need the +5 Unique Legendary Sword of Ultimate Bad Guy Asskicking to do it -- but the old dude who has it -- and who will die along with everyone else if you fail -- won't give it to you unless you complete his 20-step quest chain that starts with finding a pair of cufflinks he lost a couple of weeks ago.
