Newly updated larger image for web viewing--and printing is now available here on DA or my etsy shop!done entirely in Paint Tool SAI during all of the time I was awake on Saturday (from about 830pm to 630am (I keep weird hours). First real Doctor Who fan art! *_*
I'm planning to add more, but as always I like to upload progress shots. Now I have to sleep 3 hours to be ready to do my Hungar Kung Fu class and pick up wifey from the airport. F U N !!!!!
Just felt like I had to try and belt this one out as fast as I could. I've been spending the week languishing on what to do and how to do it in terms of getting ready for ACen. It was extreme lethargy followed by prolonged explosive action. Just like professional capoeria haha
(very few people will get that...really just my wife)Also I was relying on google to tell me what color Matt Smith's eyes were, and I don't know how they're heights compare to each other. I only know that they are taller than their companions heh

This is the best anime-y version of the Doctor that I've ever seen.
11 looks actually.. cool. (And this is coming from someone who thinks he looks like he got hit with the ugly stick)
Though, Ten's nose doesn't seem Ten-y, the rest of them look most awesome.

Yep, I was in full anime mode for Ten, so the his nose is kind of like my 'standard nose.' But then for 11, I stayed closer to his actual face, subconsciously, just cuz I was trying so hard to capture that skull design of his

Yay! I love love love love love this to death. You did an excellent job transitioning the Doctors from live action to anime/cartoon style, and absolutely nothing was lost! You maintained all of their distinguishable features, from 10's incredible hair (which, let's face it, was worthy of anime anyway) down to 11's really low brow. Awesome.

11 is a little shorter than 10 (I think it was) and 11 is shorter than his companion I thought O.o" or maybe they are around the same...maybe he just seemed short to me....
But I love your drawing style...and 11 is supposed to be younger than 10 but in this picture, you've seem to have made 10 more younger than 11...

I agree that 10 looks younger here, I noticed it while I was drawing. I drew 10 first with a deliberate anime slant (which adds youth) and then for 11 I worked so hard to get his face just right that I ended up losing some of the anime look

I am so not fond of Eleventh Doctor, Ten still being MY Doctor. And I am not sure I will ever love Eleven - he is just not for me, his manners nor character. And that's after 6 episodes, mind you.
On your picture he looks much more handsome than he does in real life, lol.
