Newly updated larger image for web viewing--and printing is now available here on DA or my etsy shop!done entirely in Paint Tool SAI during all of the time I was awake on Saturday (from about 830pm to 630am (I keep weird hours). First real Doctor Who fan art! *_*
I'm planning to add more, but as always I like to upload progress shots. Now I have to sleep 3 hours to be ready to do my Hungar Kung Fu class and pick up wifey from the airport. F U N !!!!!
Just felt like I had to try and belt this one out as fast as I could. I've been spending the week languishing on what to do and how to do it in terms of getting ready for ACen. It was extreme lethargy followed by prolonged explosive action. Just like professional capoeria haha
(very few people will get that...really just my wife)Also I was relying on google to tell me what color Matt Smith's eyes were, and I don't know how they're heights compare to each other. I only know that they are taller than their companions heh

After seeing this on a Doctor Who fansite late last year, I had posted my desire for a poster, then scraped together money to get one. Before I could goto the library for an internet connection...lo, and behold! a friend of mine gets this at this ACen along with the Gambit card(two of my faves, well, if you include the artist that made it, three faves in a row.) as an early birthday prezzie!
I had no internets until recently, so I couldn't send you a digital squee(I bet the real one in April went through the stratosphere, and was heard worldwide).
I'd adore seeing your take on Time Crash collab...(Tennant, Davison, trainers, nerd specs...yes please!). It'd go great on the other side of my wall, matching this one, as it's a wee bit uneven without.

I love this picture more reasons than you'd think.
Firstly (and i'll probably receive a lot of flak for this statement): I HATE the 11th doctor. His appearance, his behaviour, his quirks (more like lack thereof). But of all that, I hate his attire. YOU however, manage to make him look rather good. Modest, shy, soft spoken, hiding a strong person who's seen a lot and is very forgiving.
Secondly: I LOVE the 10th. and you make him look very roguish and hansom.
Thirdly: I love your style, the way you present is just wonderful.
I just wish it was a little bit bigger, but other than that, it took my breath away. Well Done!

I used paint tool sai to do the inking and coloring of the Doctors and then I used Photoshop 7.0 to render a starfield (using a tutorial right here on DA)

I never knew I could possibly be polarizing Who fans by combining 10 and 11 like this, but I'm happy to say that most people, like yourself, are at least cool with 11 being there
