I had hoped for better results, but I did learn a whole lot while doing this. For instance, to get better contrast with a shadowed area I need to go from light to dark, now I know , to many other things like how to consider color better while designing the ship and planning ahead better once it’s ready to be colored. Frankly I don’t know squat about lighting, and decided to take the easiest route for my first attempt, with the light just hitting the jets directly from above with both. Next time I'll be able to show shade better and hopefully have developed a better way to shade silver, which frankly is as powerful as black is. I just might go back and try a few more things on it, but I'm gonna call it done. I still had a lot of perspective problems which became more visible I think after coloring, I still struggle with it. The next ship I'm doing is actually going to be two point perspective and will hopefully improve that part, wish me luck, I'll need it.
