Description
This is probably one of my favorite things to do: make animal characters into HUUMAAAAAAAAAANSSS. SO FUN. So here you have Marlin, Dory and Nemo, none of whom do I own.Finding Nemo & characters (c) Pixar/Disney

I just saw latest pic with these characters and I had to find the genius behind their human designs!
This is amazing! I never imagined them as humans, but this suits them just perfectly!

yeah, i know. :c It's sad, but I thought it was the most logical parallel, as I've known two perfectly healthy people with just such a disability.

yeah one of my uncles was born with a hand on his shoulder rather than a full arm. he had it amputated, he said it was something to do with him mum having some kinda medicine when she was pregnant with him, its quite common in his generation actually.

oh yeah he gets by perfectly fine. i didnt even know until i was about 10 when he took off his prostheses. i did kinda wonder why he never moved his arm tho.

well it never moves see, it was sorta in an L shape. bent at the elbow. he can adjust it however he wants, but he usually just has it so he can put the hand in his pocket or something, he could have had something different but because his arm ends at the shoulder any other prosthesis isnt really useful.

These sketches bring me great joy. Especially the one with Dory and Marlin in the whale. (Or is that of when they first met? Either way, both scenes are so....... filled with fatherly angst. Pobre Marlin.) And GOD, Marlin and Dory's hair looks so fluffy and wonderfully colored.

my sister forces encourages me to make animal characters into humans and IT IS SUPER FUNNN YES.
I've known 2 people with that kind of deformity, so when i thought of how to draw Nemo i was like DUUHH, but most people draw him with either NOTHING wrong with him, or a gimpy leg. :/ I'm glad you leik eet!!! TANK YEW!
