MORE MORE MOREwell, i sketched this up REALLY QUICK for my sister last night, and I just HAD to color it...REALLY QUICKLY. x/
this is, for my sister and me, THE BEST SCENE IN THE WHOLE MOVIE.
Albert Brooks (a.k.a. Marlin and THE LOVE OF MY LIFE) actually improvised this scene, and i for one adore the originality and reality he elicits. OH GOD I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
Also, i really love how father-daughter their relationship is- and how he always seems like he feels as though he's talking to a little girl. Dory always struck me as quite a bit younger than Marlin, and i love how Pixar never hints at any romantic relationship between them. Seriously, Pixar WINS at making awesome platonic relationships.
i might clean up the sketchiness and coloring later.

I still like the fact that this relationship is platonic, despite Dorlin (DoryxMarlin) being a shipping. I can't stand some Pixar shippings (Dorlin, AndyxWoody, WoodyxBuzz ect) but I like the platonic friendshipy ones like most people do.

And this brings back so much love for said scene. POOR DORY. AND POOR MARLIN. Oh God, so many Marlin faces. It's attack of the clownfish clones.
And I hear ya about the fact that they hinted no semblances of romance in the movie between these two. It was a very creative and believable friendship between these two. YAY FOR CO-ED BUDDIES.
....gawwwwd girl, you're so damn good at drawing all of Marlin's awesome facial expressions. I might just end up staring at this thing for the end of forever. O_O
