Maybe it's because she looks younger? Usually chibis dont look much younger, just small and cute. Orihime's eyes are kind of sharp and less detailed, these big eyes make her look kid-ish.

Nah, dora's hair is way plainer. It's made up of about 3 lines in total XD. I never really liked orihime in pink...it just reminds me of the sad fact that she's the damsel in distress of this series, and i hate anime girls like that. Like, rukia is kinda weak too, but she at least tries. And she has spunk. Orihime is like a dissapointment to me...she would be completely useless to the show if she wasn't hot
