I've fallen in love with Yuri On Ice, particularly with Victor. OwO (I must have this thing for silver-haired hotties, LMAO). I've been trying not to draw fanart, but gawddamnit, I fell so hard with this show that I had to paint Victor! ;A;Here, have some angsty-Victor. He's fabulous. He's famous. And he's constantly a winner. Alas, none of that gives him what he wants in life... until a certain person enters it.
Damn it. Now I want to paint a Victor and Yuri portrait... e_e

Thank you! Shading is always a challenge, especially when you're working with colors. Still, it's a challenge I always enjoy taking on.

Β it's always great seeing new faces in my neck of the woods. There are SO MANY INCREDIBLE ARTISTS out here that it means a lot when someone new checks out my stuff for the first time. I really appreciateΒ the time you took to check out my other stuff. I'm pretty slow when it comes to uploading new stuff, but that's only because I want to post only exciting fresh stuff, something that viewers old and new can appreciate. I'm also constantly trying to get better with my craft and explore color. It makes me happy to have people like you on board my crazy art adventures.Β Β
As for my particular brush, my work is a combination of traditional and digital media. I always start pieces (like this one) with traditional media, mainly watercolors since it gives me fascinating and unpredictable textures. Then I go in digitally and just experiment with other textures. My goal is to create a cohesive piece that still retains my original signature.

Teee, I know! I'm trying hard to limit fan art this year, but ever since I checked out YOI, I've fallen in love and want to paint these lovely derps together. >w<
As for the textures, this is actually a fusion between natural media (watercolors) and digital. ^_^ I call it fusion artΒ - I like getting the best of both worlds.
