Clowns have also appeared in pantomimes and vaudeville, in films and television, and as straight or comedic characters in plays and operas.

Just because he doesn't talk doesn't mean he can't entertain! Moe is skilled in the art of performance. He has been practicing the art of a clown's performance, as well as pantomime, ever since he was introduced to it as a child. His performances in the circus, as he developed his style, began to enthrall and amaze spectators, who began to spread his name throughout the country, as well as Europe, bringing in more audience members. He's known for his creativity and absolute absurdity with some of his acts, as well as his bravery in doing more of the more risky acts, such as ones including scaling circus tents and doing small feats of parkour for the sake of his performance.
strengths:▹ [ echo, echo, echo ]Moe is a selective mute, and communicates through voice clips on his tape recorder! Of course, he realizes the tool he has in his grasp-- and realizes he could use it to his advantage! He , surprisingly, isn't as dumb as he seems (sometimes), and has a very good memory. Along with that, he also has his tape recorder that he uses for evidence. When he suspects someone has said something suspicious, he records it onto his tape recorder for future reference. He can use these echoes of quotes from the other characters to prove his case during a trial. If needed, and if Moe has time to prep, he can also plan a way to stitch together sentences to frame other kids or tamper with the direction of the trial.

Not that Moe would ever do that, of course! (◕‿◕✿)

▹ [ i have something for that! ]Mr. Moe has a prop bag with all sorts of things inside! Toys, tools, cards-- you name it, he has it! While he usually uses the content of this bag to entertain, some of these things have actual use! It always seems that, because of this, he always has something to use for the situation.

For example, if one needs to reach something from a long distance, somewhere they can't reach, they can turn to Mr. Moe! He will let them borrow something like a reaching grabber. He may even have a rope, if the situation calls it! Another example, if a fire starts, Mr. Moe can retrieve a working fire extinguisher that can put it all out!

weaknesses:▹ [ i believe you! ]Moe, like a child, is very gullible. His hope for people doesn't run out-- not until the very end! It's very easy for him to be persuaded by somebody to fight for them during a trial-- especially if they provide the proper evidence or emotional incentive, such as begging or, for example, the suspect being Moe's friend. That'd be enough for him to try and defend them until the very end!

Moe has no ability to defend himself from trial skills relying on persuasion because of this. His gullibility immediately leaves him susceptible to manipulation.
▹ [ hard of hearing ]It's difficult for Moe to hear things, just in general. He has to strain and focus to make out words while others are talking. It's hard for him to passively listen to what people are saying because of this! While he could hear particularly loud noises, such as gun shots and people shouting, even then, the sound will be muffled, and concerning the shouting, it's unlikely Moe would be able to make out the words.

So, let's say Moe was a key witness in a trial. However, the only clues he would receive are auditory, such as voices he heard through the wall, or noises he heard down the hall. All of these sounds wouldn't have been heard very well, making these clues useless, as Moe would most likely describe them just as vague as that. He wouldn't be able to tell who the voices were, or what kind of noises he had heard down the hall-- if at all.

Moe is certainly a strange person! Not many people like him exist in the world. While that is true, perhaps that's what attracts other people to watch his antics. He's the perfect person to entertain the masses, of both his own country, and all sorts of nations around the world.

    Of course, Moe doesn't talk. However, that doesn't keep him from being the friendly guy he is! Moe enjoys interacting with other people, as well as entertaining them! While some don't enjoy the little gimmick he has, Moe finds that some others actually know what fun is-- which is great! It's mostly Moe's actions that catch people's attention. Funny gags can make up for lost words! Gags, such as disappearing into the floor, as if passing down a flight of stairs, to the impossible, such as floating down from a high distance using an umbrella, are what make up Moe's comical personality! His liveliness doesn't disappear when he leaves the stage, either. Moe doesn't live any boring days-- and he makes sure the people around him don't, either. He always pulls other people into trouble-- and while it's a bit troubling, it's usually at least a little fun! While these antics of his usually get himself into some trouble, it's not like it matters-- the boy is as carefree as he could be! Moe doesn't really care about anything, besides making others smile and having fun. As long as he got his daily entertainment by the end of the day, he's satisfied. He won't let anything bother him! Not only is he happy go lucky about anger or sadness, or problems that would consume others-- fear doesn't affect him, either! Moe is rarely scared. Even in the rare occurrence in which he does feel fear, he does a very good job at hiding it under his face paint, along with a convincing smile.

    One could see the boy as childish. Acting as if his responsibilities don't even matter, as if the world around him doesn't matter. However, some could see this as an upside! His childishness can wipe off on others! It can bring them joy! Moe, to keep this childishness and innocence, does decide to remain absentminded toward the horrors in the world occurring around him. Smiles and laughter are all the things that Moe focuses on! Anything else doesn't matter, not to Moe. He’s quite stubborn about that, actually! Others should smile too, and Moe will do whatever he can to assure that!

      You suppose it goes with his act, but Moe is silent for a reason-- reasons he won't disclose with the other students. He usually works around this by using recorded voice clips on his tape recorder. He's a master at flipping through clips to create words. It's become a part of his personality, even!

    Then again, it's hard to argue that being childlike comes with its cons. Moe, while mostly amusing, isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Intelligence was never really his strong point-- in fact, he's quite daft. While this is the least of his worries, it is a problem, when Moe has to use his head to think, rather than his heart. Speaking of his heart, Moe's mood and behavior seems to change at a flick of a switch. His capriciousness is hard to predict. One moment, he could be smiling and laughing, the other he could be kicking over trash cans in a sudden tantrum. Not to mention, Moe is very impatient, when it comes to things that don't entertain him. He has a short attention span for pretty much anything that doesn't end up with him getting himself, as well as other people, having a good time. The latter half of Moe's life has been spent entertaining the masses-- of course he wants to make sure others are having as good of a time as he is! The guy is quite the people pleaser, isn’t he?

Moe loved the attention that comes with being a performer. He loves when people have their eyes on him, loves that they love him. Not only does he like to make others happy, but he revels in their attention. An attention seeker, if you’ve ever seen him. It doesn’t matter if he leaves others in his shadow, all that matters is that people see him.

Still, he sees it different in his own eyes. He isn't mean. Sure, he gets it. It’s selfish for him to want attention, all the time. But it’s not that bad, really!

Maurice Morales, member of Cirque Ubiquity, as well as a former member of the clown group, the Ubiquitous Seven, is a performer famous all over the countries of Europe. Originally stemming from France, he had joined the circus at the young age of ten. After being recruited as an apprentice to the famous clown, Queenie, known for her over the top personality and extravagant costumes, he had been the newest and youngest member to Cirque Ubiquity's famous performing group of clowns! He works alongside popular faces such as the twins, Jazzy and Lucky, as well as Pickles and Sunshine! The group, before their disbanding, had been known for their performances all across Europe, for a whole span of five years. Maurice, or otherwise known as Mr. Moe, is famous for his performances under his circus's Big Top. He's one of the main faces one sees when attending the circus, and is known all across Europe by his ability to share joy and happiness wherever he goes.

    After the Pandora Virus had spread to the performers of Cirque Ubiquity, Mr. Moe's band of clowns had been torn apart. Thanks to his experience, Mr. Moe himself has been known to be very passionate about Pandora research, as well as finding a cure for the sickness. In fact, it's been said it's one of the reasons he had attended Hope's Peak University in the first place!

Moe keeps different balloons on him, such as regular balloons-- those that inflate into the regular spherical shape, as well as balloons that inflate into tubes, used for making balloon animals! He enjoys handing whatever he decides to inflate out to people.

▹ Moe likes kaomojis a lot. Whenever he's writing messages or notes, he always manages to fit a few in. He thinks they're really cute.
▹ Moe's closet is mostly just doubles of his regular outfit. He likes to get dirty, and he doesn't want to be limited, just in case he ruins his main outfit.
▹ Moe really likes fluffy animals! This goes for any kind of fluffy animal, from tiny little bunnies to full size lions. People often have to advise him to not pet fully grown circus lions.
▹ Moe is hard of hearing. Not completely deaf-- he can hear loud noises. With his hearing aids, it gets better, and Moe can hear well enough, so much so that it doesn't bother him in his daily life. Moe can speak and does have a voice. He just decides not to show it.

trivia:▹ Moe talks through a tape recorder, which he always keeps in his back pocket. He has recorded clips on there, which he uses to create sentences. It's his only form of verbal communication. He also records other people, sometimes, whether it be for blackmail or just because he likes their voice.
▹ Moe likes kaomojis a lot. Whenever he's writing messages or notes, he always manages to fit a few in. He thinks they're really cute.
▹ Moe's closet is mostly just doubles of his regular outfit. He likes to get dirty, and he doesn't want to be limited, just in case he ruins his main outfit.
▹ Moe really likes fluffy animals! This goes for any kind of fluffy animal, from tiny little bunnies to full size lions. People often have to advise him to not pet fully grown circus lions.
▹ Moe is hard of hearing. Not completely deaf-- he can hear loud noises. With his hearing aids, it gets better, and Moe can hear well enough, so much so that it doesn't bother him in his daily life. Moe can speak and does have a voice. He just decides not to show it.
