I think you're thinking of J-20. J-14 is like a mix of Eurofighter and YF-23. J-20 is a mix of YF-23, F-22, and PAK FA. But J-20 is actually being made, J-14 never made it past the drawing board.

I was just guessing as I'm not up to scratch with Chinese 5th gen fighters, although its quite obvious that they have to develop them to counter the US & Russia.

never knew much about chinese aircraft myself, never bothered a lot because their air force is pretty much made up of copies.

Lol, they are the best at reverse engineering. Besides, when you got a few hundred Flankers, you've got a very potent air force, even if they are all copies.
