Commissioned by:So here you have Claire Redfield. More than a year since I did a picture about her, so it was kinda interesting so see how she may look now in the way I draw recently and also for this picture I had to do a mix of things.
The costume is from: i.ytimg.com/vi/XjGL_FR-jaw/max⦠, but black to go with the idea, and the umbrella in the picture was the reason I decided to add the symbol as background, so considering I didn't have idea what the hell to do as background, this last minute idea don't looks so bad, better than a simple color
The look (hair) is from Resident Evil 2 (and probably other game, not sure), but I used as reference for her face screenshots from more recent games.

Claire's not bad, but Jill's my favorite when it comes to RE. You did good making her 2D though.

I liked Jill long ago, RE3, I didn't like the change of style on her in recent games.

A lot of people say that, but I like her in Revelations and the Lost in Nightmares dlc of RE5 (BSAA). I don't like the Sarah Bryant/Nina Williams clone in RE5 though. But that's the canon version of her now so I guess we have to get used to it, unless she dyes her hair back or something.

That's a good goal. There are a lot of talented cosplayers (such as yourself) who do really cool, dynamic shoots, and seeing something that isn't your standard pose- that's really cool.

Claire looks like she's ready for some fun!
This came out great, my friend. Absolutely what I'd hoped for. I know I gave you the most vague description in the history of commissions, but you took it and ran with it, and the result is excellent! Claire is sexy in a dangerous way. Great proportions on her (loved that toned stomach) great job on the costume, and nicely done with the pose. As for the background- you made a really great choice. The Umbrella logo was the perfect touch for this little scene.Β
What else? Good, steady line art, nice shading- just absolutely great!

Well, is nice to know it worked fine, the idea was simple, Β but my real concern was the face and expression. Specially because a year ago, I used to draw slightly different than now

To be honest, was like an experiment, well, maybe not that, but since I have changed things here and there about how I draw faces, it felt like an experiment hahaha, plus it helped that the recent 3D models about her are like this, the old RE2 model was more anime/cartoon-ish in some kind of way.
