Description
So, remember the voting contest for the Legend of Korra game cover Nick had on their Facebook page a long time ago? Maybe you don't, but I do. Why? Because in my opinion, the sketch for this cover was the best, but an inferior version won instead, haha. Of course, because of that, it was only left as a sketch and never saw the light of day. But I liked it, so I figured I'd practice some of my coloring techniques on it, as well as give the more deserving entry some color (: You can find the original sketch here: www.facebook.com/legendofkorra…I don't know why I cropped it. Lol. (Oh no I do. It's cuz I couldn't tell what was going on with her feet! Haha)

This is pretty good! The colors and shading are great and the lineart's much better than I expected it to be. What I don't really understand is the fire though, particularly its direction. Is she pulling it back like a whip or shooting it out of her fist?

Haha I didn't expect it to be shitty, I just expected your usual thin shojo manga lineart which isn't always the best lineart to use for certain art styles.
