You can't cause you are going professional? A lot of big photographers on dA especially do a lot of self portraits, such as Lara Jade and Miss-Deathwish. Working with myself as the photographer and the model can be some of the most emotional and personal work I could do. Also I can convey what I want perfectly. I do admit it's harder to get it technically correct since I can't be in control completely of the camera framing and such. But maybe this wasn't what you were talking about ha.

No no, I can't since I've started going more professional. I've tried, but as I'm not behind to perfectly have it all under control, it somehow never turns out as I want it too, which is a pity because, as you say, it can be the most personal work and I could show what I really want.

Yeah... my self portraits never come out the way I planned. I just end up going: oh hey that particular shot isn't awful!
