i am from a milticultural family. my pairents are british, i'm south american, i have half iraqi and full chinese cousins.
but thats not why i like this deviation.
recently there were elections in britain to decide who would represent us in europe.
three seats were given to the BNP. the british national party. they are fullof misstrust and dislike for 'foraigners' they beleieve britain is for britain. they are raceist. they dresss it up with polotics and fancy words but it remains the same. they are facists.
it saddens me that there are still people out there who believe in segrigation and seperation.
and i'm glad there are more like me. like us.
your right to accept those that are diferent in any way makes you stronger. they are weak.
and yet. they are people and they are diferent. should we accept them? the facists? i may give them a chance but they will never have my respect. great picture ignore the haters! spread the good vibes! whoop!

And by the ones you try to love as well. This reminds me of an incident from my childhood. There were those asylum seeker kids, a few Turkish and a few black ones. I was around 6 or 7. We played together in Germany and me being the only German kid in our little gang, they often asked me to walk up front, armed with my pink bycicle helmet and a wooden spoon to guard them from the skinheads they were so afraid of. No incidents ever btw. Then I had to go to a kiddy nuthouse for 3 years and when I returned, those kids had become the typical reason for leftwing-folks to go nazi. I came to our usual playground, we recognized one-another and... they chased me off with sticks and stones and threw dog shit at me. "Hey fat whore, this is our land!"...
Then, from 13 years on, I was a leftwing punkrock girl, the extremely annoying kind that yells at furcoat-wearing women and calls ANY baldhead a filthy nazi when accompanied by my peers. But it was around that age, probably because I was starting to look like a female, when a nightmare started, a nightmare which is black males constantly, daily, hitting on and sexually harrassing me and no, I do not just happen to live in an all-black country so this cannot be explained by likelihood-by-numbers. And ONLY black males. Jezus, why?
It has become SO difficult to stay open-minded and tolerant towards all if the ones you advocate keep stabbing you in the back. I have a black (though Indian) classmate, and my first thought was: Thank God he looks like he's gay (and my gaydar was right), 2nd thought was: thank God he's Indian (my problem is only with black Africans, not Indians). I've met a few black men who were gorgeous, nice-seeming guys but I just don't dare even smile at them because I'm afraid they'll take their dick out again once we're alone (it happened). I'm not saying all black men are like that but it happened to me way too often as to not cross the street when I see a black dude on my side of the road. When a black man addresses me for asking what time it is or whether the bus is yet to come, I keep giving them the chance to proove that it's not my ass they're after and they keep disappointing me. Recently I started to yell "Fuck off or I'll call the police" at every black man who even opens his mouth to talk to me, I feel sorry about that but experience has taught me that only sexually-tinged familiarity will come from talking to them, as sad as it may seem.
I don't hate quite yet and I don't want to but I keep getting reasons from the very people who want tolerance.
Sorry about my rant, I just couldn't help but think of these things right now. Hope I didn't offend anyone.
