My mom does volunteering, so she doesnt get payed. My dad works at some hardware designing company. He doesnt tell us how much he gets payed though.
He said about 7 years ago, there was a company called Marvell that would buy my dad's company in, so they could work for them, and in return they get payed like 6% of their stocks or something. My dad's boss refused the offer though, but the Marvell company got famous afterwards, and my dad said that if his boss had agreed, then all of the employees in his office would have gotten about 22mill (for that 6%)
