Description
Here's one of the characters I'm gonna use to audition for a few OC Comic Tournaments I have my eye on. To those of you who know him, Jim (from Golden Admiral) won't be making an appearance. I plan to keep him a secret character until my novel is published.Deyan's victories: (Never bothered staying for the whole tournament

X-CHALLENGE INFO
Name: Deyan Reign
Age: 14
Race: Viking-Japanese
Species: Demigod
Weight: 126 llbs
Height: 5 feet 3 inches
Personality: Brash, Boyish, Sometimes Cocky, Sometimes Psychotic
Likes/dislikes: Loves fighting, Hates dying, Likes Vulcan, Dislikes the thought of being weak.
Description of fight style and weapons: Deyan will first try to pound the living crap out of his opponents with his massive hammer. If that doesn't work, he will be using Vulcan's special abilities, calling out all sorts of dangerous weapons and objects out of any nearby electrical, sonic or luminescent sources. A more detailed description of Vulcan may be found below.
Occupation: Deyan is currently a Basic Infantryman for the Einherjar, Valhalla's most powerful warriors. His main goal is to rise through the ranks, but his Japanese roots, which inspires racism among some of the soldiers, make this a little difficult. He is sometimes sent out to destroy random Norse Monsters or Patrol the Asgardian Borders, and occasionally acting as a messenger boy to other Pantheons. But other than that, he hasn't seen much action on the field other than random tournaments that he joins.

GENERAL INFO
Weapon:
‘Vulcan’. With this hammer, Deyan can ‘Forge’
energy into solid or liquid shapes to be used at
his whim. Vulcan can only mould electricity, light
and sound for now, but Deyan plans to master
other forms of energy like motion or heat. When his Life
Force is forced upon the hammer, it is instead dispersed into
his regular attacks, 'corrupting' them.
The Good:
Besides being the only one able to control Vulcan, Deyan
has extreme strength, reflexes, agility and endurance. He
also has this ability to avoid ‘Indirect Effects’, meaning
stuff like Voodoo, Pyrokinesis, Curses or Illusions
won’t work on him. It has to be a direct energy,
elemental or physical attack - and it has to hit.
Note: Being a Viking Berserker, Deyan can enter a second form where his abilities drasically increase, and in which he can use his own Life Energy as Forging Material for Vulcan. But, since Vulcan can't Forge Life Energy yet, Deyan's Life energy is dispersed and corrupted, causing his attacks to take on darker and more sinister forms with minds - and twisted body parts - of their own. He can even break one or two rules from the list below in this form.
The Bad:
Deyan is young, brash, psychotic and cocky, which means
making mistakes, even the dumbest ones, are not rare
for him. He isn’t as experienced as the other Demigods
either, and while he inherited his great-grandad’s physical
attributes, he lacks his great-grandma’s immortality and
godly wisdom. Also, Deyan's powers have to obey this little 'list'
of laws. Deyan plans to rise to the rank of Captain to have the 'list'
(also called his Power Seal) removed, but this may not happen anytime soon.
1) He may not take control of his opponents energy (if it is the type he can use) until said energy is fully dispersed into the environment.
2) He may not use any of his summoning moves in Normal Mode. Summons are unavoidable in his Berserker Mode, but this ability of his is balanced because of the high cost.
3) He must Recite the 'Codes' to unlock his special moves. Higher level Einherjar can do this without the Recitation, but Deyan is just a basic soldier, and this is a risky move for him because he will be a sitting duck while Reciting. Code Words are the names of Mythical Norse Creatures.
4) He cannot call upon his great-grandmother's Solar-Style powers, or his other Ancestral Gods. His rank is too low, his age is too young, and the Valhallan captains don't trust him with that kind of power. Which is a wise move, since Deyan also has DNA from Zeus, Amun-Ra, Kronos, Odin, Shiva and even The Raven Spirit God.
The Past:
Deyan has always been the reject of the Valhallan Elite. Veteran Viking 'Celestial Berserkers', or Einherjar, tend to look down on the youngest soldier of the Norse Gods, who joined Valhalla as a recruit instead of living freely upon the final wish of his dying father. His roots also inspire a bit of racism. While Thor never actually mated with Amaterasu, the Japanese Sun Goddess, Deyan's Father was one of Thor's many grandsons, and his mother was Amatersu's many granddaughters - and the Vikings frown on Easterners. Eager to prove his worth to his superiors, Deyan eagerly tries to join as many tournaments in all sorts of dimensions. Death isn't a problem for this kid, as dead Einherjar always return to Valhalla when sunset there arrives. So, no matter what happens to him, he will be reunited with his kind. Sure, he'll be resurrected with shame (and this has happened a lot of times), but hey, he prefers staying alive. Still, Deyan wants his 'living streak' (his tabulation of all the battles he won and survived) to reach at least 2 battles won and survived in a row. Then, his ranks and powers will rise to Senior Recruit.
Will this young rookie succeed? Let's find out.

Oh man, this is such an old Ref sheet, but thanks so MUCH for the fave, and even bothering to visit it. You can tell that lightning is one of my favorite elements. Alas, when I took the a quiz, it turns out my element is Darkness.

Limitless potential, psycologically liable, highly overpowered...
Nice.

Yeah well, I'm saving my more 'well-fleshed' characters for my novels, y'see? Deyan's an expendable extra who I haven't worked on as much.
Thanks for the comment, though.
