Once you get past the slightly-reduced quality, and the MIDI-like feel, perhaps you will enjoy it.

Boldt Piano, Harp and Bass Instruments are also free, but it would be nice to make a donation to the guy here www.d.umn.edu/~bold0070/projec… if one wants to use his loops, as he did work on them quite nicely, and the majority of them turned out well.
Just a few more thoughts:
- There is a 10-ish-second delay at the start. Whoops.
- I'm starting to lean towards more epic-orchestral genres. It's hard to pull that off without an actual orchestra, though. T__T
- No, I will not put a repeat button. I don't know if you want this tune getting stuck inside your head.
- Please inform me of any glitches.
- I do not take song requests.
- Hopefully this doesn't sound identical to anything you've heard. I don't listen to the radio much, so I'm not aware of any accidental similarities. I fully guarantee that the melody and harmony of this was made from scratch. Especially this one.
- The file size is over 4 Megabytes, so depending on your computer, the loading time might be a little bit long. I had to reduce the quality somewhat.

Really feels like a tune to some epic retro video game. (And I'm sure an epic retro video game of your whole universe would be pretty awesome! I can imagine it at least! XD )
It has the quality of something that I would expect from a independant but professionnal product. That is, it sounds good, and feels like real music. (unlike what I create out of random boredom, with usually sound like random boredom.
If I had infinite time on my hand, I would totally read and watch every single thing you upload... they are amazing, but being a gigantic interlinked back-story of sort, it is now over my ability to keep track of. XD
I have 36 of your uploads to look at, all of them barely fitting in a theoncell, and I can't think of a time when I can give them a serious read. I know for sure it contains epicness beyond compare, but the sheer size of it reminds me of my own similarly gargantuan project that I have to take care of, excluding homework. XD
Still, good job on keeping the production so active!

I used Garageband, converted the file to MP3, imported it into Flash, and then exported it as an SWF file.

You could actually hear my music on my soundcloud account, the link to which can be found on my profile page. I look forward to your feedback! And I would prefer it be detailed. Simply getting a "cool" or "nice job!" barely satisfies me any more, and too many people say I'm good at melodies without telling me what makes the think that (I can honestly say not many get such comments on particular skills, so I am wondering what makes my melodies so much better than others). Not to sound like a jerk, but lately, I feel like people are just passing me off as another artist, and I'm getting tired of it.

That's...well, that's the thing with me. I have no education on music whatsoever. I cannot dissect anyone's music because I don't have the know-how; I mean, I can try to say something smart, but it might just make me sound really hypocritical, and I don't know if it's proper for an inexperienced musician to judge an experience one.
I can give them a listen, though.

I don't really know how to dissect music much either. I just make all my music note by note on my ipad. I pick the notes and put them where I want them, and that's it! I simply know how to make music based on all the music I have heard in the past as well as a pattern for a particular style that one of my 8th grade teachers told the class about while teaching us how to use Garage Band (it was a computer class or something), although I don't really use that style much. The only ways I know of to dissect music is by my own knowledge and using the words I have learned over time, mainly from all the other comments I've gotten/seen on soundcloud and thus asked about so I could understand what they meant. XD My advice? Just tell me what stands out the most to you, and what you think the reason is for you liking it.
