I've got an idea for a character, a white collar criminal, who has been modified by genetec for life in an underwater prison colony. As a baseline human, she was a great lover of fashion, especially fancy shoes. Now she greatly laments the fact that she can't fit her webbed, tentacle-like toes into them. I think it has the potential to be a funny scene; I'm just not sure how to pull it off.
