Description
"Alduin bane of kings"(You better download it to get the best impression, especially of Alduin.)
Dovahkiin facing Alduin.. just an idea of how I'd imagine an epic final battle could be.
Skyrim... such an amazing province in such an amazing universe!
Looking trough the artbook accompanying the Collector's Edition, You are left in awe by all the details and amazing designs..
While taking a break from studies I put this on the digi-canvas while having the inspiration.
Rough greyscale painting and some color and light effects.
Any opinions?

Yes the lighting adds to the serenity of it because you can see the glowing orange light on the armor of the man. I like that part, and much more about it as well

Alduin is such a cool dragon and one of the most original I've seen, but sadly, his final battle was not as great as it could've been but his death was badass!
Lol Although Alduin is badass, he reminds me of the red Eyes black dragon from the yugioh cards I used to have XDD

The deign is pretty unique and very dragon like in it's nature.
I'll have to wait to experience the battle myself.... whenever i get time that is

Sad thing is he did it 4 times before ACTUALLY hittin Alduin. Yet I did it in one hit. he said "alduin clearly likes you better."

Man! This is almost exactly like the first battle with him on the Throat of the World. But the real final battle is in Sovngarde. But I bet you could easily draw that too. Heck, you nailed this battle just fine! Divines watch over you and your skills!

I was suprised by how compelling Skyrim's story is (compared to the others, anyway). You really do feel like the world's only hope, and that's awesome.

I do believe that is due to the rich and lively world Betehsda has created, the immense background story they build on, and the setting of the game!

wow, that must have taken a while to cook up, amazing detail by the by. To tell the truth the human dude looks like he's gonna get fried before he even hits alduin...kinda like that one scene on "reign of fire"...But it's still epic, like that one part on pirates of the carribean when jack was facing down the kraken...please condone my ramblings, What is alduin's real color, is it black?

I know what you mean, you're not the only to mention Reign of Fire.
But it's up to the viewer to imagine the outcome, realistically it wouldn't seem like a good situation for the Dragonborn, but then again being a Dragonborn and fighting a legendary dragon of ancient times isn't exactly realistic either
Also, I do believe Alduin's color is a somewhat deep dark desaturated reddish brown color, but I don't know for certain.

This scene is very dramatic and dynamic, personally like me so much this type of battle.
