Description A little bit of what I was doing at the end of college. After doing these pieces for a game production class, I discovered that I really want to specialize in modular (puzzle-piece-esque) props/assets.

Check out my constantly under construction portfolio site for some close ups of some of the props seen here and my demo reel.

Thank you! For these I used 3ds Max 2011. I've used Maya before and find it restricts my artistic ability (I have to think waaaay to hard about what process I need to use in order to do something that Max does in a button click).

Lately though, I've just been making props and models from z-spheres in Zbrush, retopo/ unwrapping the mesh in 3d Coat, and just using 3ds max to import and render/export to UDK.

kkm, it looked like maya just from the texturing. (ie my teachers tell us nothing about texturing and masking... and barely anything on editing for that matter too- kent just sucks over all)
