Description
If only there's at least a Circle of the Moon mod or hack for NES' Castlevania games.Anyway, this is the sheet of work for drawing Nathan Graves in CV1 (or in common, 8-bit or NES) style.
It's not that of the best for me, but it's the best I can make for him in retro sprites. While looking at Simon Belmont's sprites in The Spriters Resource, I had to use the Magnifier program to look closely. Then, I would use MS Paint to draw.
In addition, I've been reading this [link] more often, and the NES character sprites can have at least three or four different colors according to this fun interesting article.
Otherwise, hope you enjoy this fandom and let me know if you're going to use this sheet of sprites for the 8-bit Classicvania mods.
Nathan Graves and the original Simon Belmont sprites style from Castlevania series belong to Konami.
Made from MS Paint (Windows 7)

Looks fine to me.
Even the colors are from NES palette. I've tried to edit the graphics, but the first Castlevania game has pretty messy tile set comparing to the sequels. So good luck for the hacker, who can convert the characters correctly.

Thanks. This was inspired after I looked at the Akumajou Remilia hack of the first Castlevania game. I saw my brother playing the Touhou version of some NES games I've known, and they were some of the moments I'd curiously seen the whole thing looked different (mainly sprites and BG) but maintaining the same gameplay of the original games.

Well, I was talking about it with my friend. And what I've saw, the first Castlevania game requires advanced hacking to make graphical changes, since it has CHR ROM. So it's impossible to normally swap the tiles and make that happen.

Interesting. I've checked how the CHR ROM is like, and just like what you've said to me, it takes at least a really good NES modder to, for example, change Super Mario Bros. graphics to Frog Prince. Me? I'm at most capable of making things via WarioWare DIY.

Actually theres no problem hacking Super Mario Bros games, since these games don't have that kind of equipment. As for WarioWare DIY, I couldn't have a chance to make my own, but I was sending ideas for my old friend back then.

I did lots of tracks, comics, and games from the old copy that I used to have and shared them to my brother and my young cousins. I remembered I'd made a fan track of the first race track of the NES racing game Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing.

Wow. A fake 3D Racing Game?
I understand that you're very familiar with DIY programming.

Ehh... Actually it's the soundtrack of the race theme of the game. [Sorry!]
Now that you're mentioned, I was planned to make a 3D racing microgame back then. Maybe when there's time for playing DIY, I'll make the Nigel Mansell NES microgame. Gotta make a DIY list soon.

There not many DIY games with 3D effects. You sure like challenges. xD

And sadly, it's the last of the kind of Nathan's sprites I've drawn. But thank you! And more CotM stuff will come soon!
