This is beautiful. I would love to know more about this place! I see in your other comments that it is a place in Italy? Does the property have a name or is it actually known as "Castle Red"? Such a pretty shot!

Incredible. We only have a few structures of this type in the states, one I visited recently is the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. Very European inspired, and its amazing to see the old world version captured like this. Much like Biltmore, this castle appears to have hand carved ceilings, fireplace mantle and hand painted wall murals. I'm glad to know some of these buildings are preserved, some restored as well. I'm sure in its time it was truly a magnificent visage and hosted some very prominent people. I love to imagine the ghosts and echos of the past talking and walking around the room. Magnificent. Great shot.

This is an old castle/fortress in Italy. There are two castles, one as a museum and ristorante and this one is lost, nobody cares.

Pity. If the rest of the place is in as good a condition as this room, then it would not take that much to preserve.
