no, the markings on the shadow troopers just go down in a V shape on the their chest. Guess I could see that looking like Katarn armor.

huh, my bad. I assumed it was monochromatic armor with those lines being ridges on the armor it looked very similar to katarn of the Omega boys.
Still very good looking, but then, i'm a sucker for well done Star Wars armor. Empire, Mando or pretty much any other.
