And don't get me started with the whole Bluto/Brutus thing! I know Hanna Barbera used Bluto for their Popeye shows and Nintendo used Brutus for their Popeye game.

the banana splits was a live action kids show with actors in animal costumes created by the hannah barberra company. paul used his iconic tigger laugh for fleegle.
paul was such a great actor behind so many iconic characters.

Actually they were created by the Kroft brothers who design them for HB before forming their own company.

I love your tribute to him! Paul Winchell will always be one of my favorite voice actors. Plus, his daughter's a great voice actress, too!

i know he stopped voicing around the late 80s, cause Zummi and Tigger were later voiced by Jim. Plus he was that woodpecker from The Fox and the Hound.

And i totally had no idea on the relation to April Winchell.

yup, your right. jim became zummi in season 6, 'road to ursalia' was pauls last episode before retiring. I think Winchell was better as Tigger and Zummi, though Jim is a worthy successor to Winchell...
have you seen my april winchell and jim cummings tributes yet?
