In the jaysus swords pack, the short akavirii saber is closer to a wakizashi. The full akavirii swords are straight like a ninjato (which historically probably didn't exist) or oversized fuma kodachi.
Do you also use the Crafting Complete, Heavy Armory and Weapons of the Third Age mods?

Uhmm not 100% sure which, both me and my brother added a bit of more crafting inventory into the game, but well within reasonable limits as to not break the immersion of the game.
JaySus Swords and RCRN graphics mods are the two I absolutely cannot do without. I do know I have a some more inventory than just Jaysus, though.

Argonian Blade? Maybe, but in JS Swords are Akavirii Katana (light), Dai-katana (heavy) and Akavirii sword: static-4.nexusmods.com/15/modsβ¦

It's not too far off, but Akavirii sword still has the characteristic japanese-style wraps on the handle and all.

To swordsmanship and smithing enthusiasts, stainless steel is suitable for kitchen implements, but little else.
Even patternwelded faux-damascus steel is better than stainless.

Yes, I can't tell what metal is it, I am not a blacksmith.
This is not mean that I think that stainless steel is better.
Most of the swords I saw on da are made of stainless steel, this is why I asked that.
