But but but...you covered up Birds-eye maple????

These, again, make me want to tell the Nisse to go raid your shop at night but they don't do that. Besides, talk about bad karma!

Oh thank the Goddess. They are beautiful pieces of "take one apart" cutlery. I have a love for bird's-eye maple and walnut; in fact my Partner complains that I nom onto anything with those two woods immediately after they're brought home. By the time she has them out of the box, I already am designing a top for them (I wood-burn and have so for a very long time)  or sides or something on them.
Unfortunately with Lupus affecting my eyes, things go slower than they used to.

Your things, on the other hand, are truly gorgeous!

Absolutely gorgeous work! I don't suppose you'd mind sharing how you dyed the handles? Tru-oil is starting to lose it's luster, so to speak, and I'm looking to experiment with something a bit more vibrant.
