Dawn of Infection

A young Umbreon ran around the prairies behind her trainer's home. There was a proud and confident smile on her face as she strolled down the hills, just outside the outskirts of the forest.

December was her name.

The young one had just recently evolved into an Umbreon, after spending a night of training under the full moon.

She let out a happy growl and wagged her tail as she recalled the memory in her mind.

Cherry, her trainer, had been oh so very happy when the light of evolution encased her.

Before the light even disappeared, Cherry had already rushed forward and scooped her up from the ground, locking her on a tight and cozy hug.

The young Umbreon beamed at the memory and proceeded to make her way around the forest.

Today would be the day she would venture deep into the forest.

When she was still an Eevee, her trainer would always warn her not to go too deep inside. For team rocket had once made a base of operations inside the forest.

There was no way of knowing what dangers lured inside.

But now she was stronger! If there was anything dangerous, she would be able to defeat it with her newly awakened power!

However, nothing would prepare her for what would ultimately happen… no one could have foreseen the following events… the events that would lead birth to a new being into the pokemon world.

One which would shake the foundations of pokemon genetics.

December made her way further and deeper into the forest. On her way there she had come across some curious pokemon. They questioned her motives for entering the deep parts of the forest, for they had never seen one of her kind before.

The group consisted of some Mankeys, Rattatas, Pidgeys, Nidoran, and Spearow.

She simply replied them saying that she was looking for the team rocket base, so she could test her newly acquired power.

Upon hearing her request, many gasped in mild alert. They warned December to turn back immediately, for terrible things had happened within that base. Many of their friends had been captured, and had been put through cruel experiments.

Only a few were able to escape the hellish laboratory. The rest had most probably perished.

Despite the warnings, December would have none of it.

She had come to prove to herself just how much stronger she had become. Her trainer would be proud of her when she came back unscathed from such an adventure.
