Description
Continuing the story even further from [link] , this is the very first picture of Silva (as opposed to [link] - which was the third). The start of a character that now has a very long history, and a creation that was entirely an accident. As I think I've explained before, her left arm wasn't working out, so I drew straight from the art mannequin, hoping to get a framework to work from... and the idea immediately stuck, becoming a bionic arm.
She's just gone from there really.
B to 5B, A4 paper.

Well, the bionic arm is part of the reason the character stuck.
By differentiating the character distinctively (even ignoring the zest of uniqueness), it meant that should if my artistic talents not be up to scratch from one drawing to the next, it would ensure that she was still recognisable as the same character.
Nowadays, even though I still can't necessarily keep her completely consistent, the character has now grown to the point that it's just natural for one of the characters in an image to be her.
Also, thanks for the favourite.

no problem and drawing characters over and over is hard (I think, I know I can't do the same one twice)

Well, I imagine it will become less of an issue with more practise. And indeed, that's what joining deviantART and some art forums was meant to do - motivate me into practising enough so I can get the skill to start to draw what I want to draw as I want to draw it, something that doesn't always come easily.
Eventually, if I can show enough repeatability in what I'm drawing, I might set off on turning a story I've been writing (for I somewhat fancy myself as a story writer as well) into a graphic novel - but that's still a long way off.
