THE LAST AMERICAN was a four issue miniseries put out through Marvel's Epic line of comics here in America. It was about the literal last American after a nuclear war and how the mind of this last American slips into darkness as the isolation and depression sets in.The Last American was the subject of today's DSC.

Probably the lean lanky figures? McMahon's style is similar to the one used on Aeon Flux, methinks.

I missed this character post, guess I figured we were taking the 4th off. Don't know if I would have been able to do it, even if I had, anyway. The character seems awesome, though. Kinda looked like it was "Frank Miller-like" parody. I'd be curious to see some of his comics.

Thanks, stretched some exaggeration outta my anatomy there. Oh, you coulda dunnit, he was quite fun to render. It's a kind of strange story, but the art is neat and ultra-detailed.

I like how he's holding the grenade , as if to say "YOU SEE THIS!!..THIS MAKES THINGS GO.. BOOM!!" the standing on the skulls is a nice touch
