Ballpoint on cardboard..now that is going to extremes of 'back to basics'....whats next? Chalk on slate! Seriously though, a very nice sketch.

We get so much cardboard in our shipments at work that I always feel it's a waste not to save some to doodle on. Slate would be much too hard to get onto my scanner!

Yes - I tend to draw on scrap paper if I do the DSC at work,it may be a printed sheet on the other side, I used to use a sketch book but it can make scanning awkward.

Isn't all hair though? You either have to do some abstract thing that represents hair.. but totally isn't.. Or you have to spend a ton of time trying to draw what you see. (i.e. real hair.)
Or the third option I suppose is to make everyone bald....
