The USAF doesn't use Tomcats. They're a Navy jet. The Air Force uses the Eagle.

Great shot. I've always been partial to the Hornet, but I'm biased after working on them. Dual drop tanks on this one. Looks like he's got a long flight ahead.

thank you yes I've always liked the f18 better myself, it being the only fighter canada has... I cant remember where this tomcat was stationed but I seem to recall the aircraft carrier USS Gorge Washington. In what capacity did you work on f-18's?

I was an electrician on them. Best job I've ever had, even with all the military drawbacks. When I get my bachelors in electrical engineering technology, I might look into NASA. They fly the 18's for all kinds of experiments and to keep their pilots flight hours up.
