Description
i've been playing Skyrim way too much this summer @_@This is my Dovahkiin (one of them, at least) named Aramir. She's a Wood Elf ranger. Archery, dual-wielding and Alchemy are her specialties, and someday she will brew a poison to take down a dragon in one shot.
In this image, though, she's probably just hunting bears for that lady in Iverstead

"She's a Wood Elf ranger." Can you (or anyone) explain to me exactly what the "ranger" archetype is? I have questions. I should know the answers but don't... this makes me angry :L

Well, I define ranger in the dungeons and dragons sense of the word, where their combat specialties are archery, light melee weapons, dual wielding, and light armor, with archery being the most imporant. They also have an affinity for nature and are generally outdoorsy people good at hiking and tracking and such. So, to simulate that in Skyrim, I gave my character all the dual wielding perks in one-handed, and leveled up in archery, and then added in alchemy to simulate the nature stuff ('cause you have to be able to identify plants to be an alchemist).
So, hopefully that clarified things. There are other small things that go into what most people consider a ranger, but those are the basics.

I see Savior's Hide ;D Nice job, that armor is hard to draw. What type of gloves/boots is she wearing?
Anyway, looks good

Thanks :3
Those are supposed to be elven boots and gauntlets. They are also pretty hard to draw

Ah, okay. Aramir's set is a little more goldeny than I remember elven armor to be, that's why I wasn't sure. xD

a tip for a good poison for one hit dragon death...join the dark brotherhood, but when you are given the Jarrin root to poison the emperor, keep it and just stab him or something like that, Jarrin root is the most deadly ingredient in the game, and you can only obtain it in the DB quest
mix it with Nirnroot/Crimson Nirnroot and daedra heart and you can get a poison with up to 9000 in damage XD
(I one shotted Alduin)

You and me both lolz I've been playing Skyrim alot. My character Tyairah (female Redguard) is close-quarter type fighter. She wears Ebony Armor and carries an Ebony Battleaxe. She's also a werewolf and Harbinger of the Companions in Whiterun. Her fave shout is the Fear Shout.

That's cool C: My first character was more of a fighter type as well, and Aramir here also just became Harbinger of the Companions.
I don't have the fear shout yet, but It sounds like a nice one to have

Yea. For Tyairah, she loves to see the fear in her enemy's eyes when she uses that shout. She also hates bandits....a lot. Whenever she sees one, Tyairah just has to KILL him. She likes hunting deer on her down time. Tyairah's also kind of promiscuous when it comes to guys....and girls XD

Nice It's cool that you've actually made a personality to role-play your character with. I haven't really done that with mine, but I've been really wanting to start a game where I have to make a personality for my character and stick with it as I'm playing.
