Two little whalebirbs I got from VioletCascade

June is the purple-orange one. He's male, probably. He doesn't really like talking about it. He's extremely happy all the time, optimistic and slightly insane. He acts in a childish manner and squeals often. He can be extremely sweet or extremely serious at times. He's mature, despite his behavior, and has no problems to deal with whatsoever, instead focusing on helping others out of their own troubles. That's how his strange friendship with august began. He is very clever and the depression he's gone through changed him into the best possible creature. He's truly an angel, alway seeking the best for others, putting their well-being behind everything. He loves the outdoors and has many friends, as he's extremely friendly and open. Nothing ever ruins his mood except of people aksing him about his gender or his job. He doesn't have an occupation or any education because he comes from a very rich family and has everything he needs.

August is a male, and his main characteristic is his fear of accidents and ilnesses, to the point that he's constantly sick in one way or another. He eats only the fruit and vegetables he grows, he washes himself two times per day, which has led to significant loss of furr, he's constantly anxious, he's an insomniac and he's absolutely terrifyied o fmost things around him, sharp objects, fire, heights, water, other animals, running, stairs EVERYTHING. He speaks quietly an dquickly and it's hard to understand him. He sits in his empty of furniture room all day reading medical books and playing with his stuffed animals. He always thinks he's in pain somehow, or that he's got some incurable illness. He often thinks he's going to have a heart attack or when his head aches he thinks he's about to die. Everytime he goes to the doctor, he's being reassured that he's the healthiest of whalebirbs, however he always finds a new problem to imagine that he has. Messed up guy is messed up. One day, by accident, June overheard his discussion with a doctor, and started sticking to august like glue, eventually becoming his one and only friend, and the only august has ever allowed in his house.

Their relationship is still under development.
And yeah, While at the begginning I thought of basing their lives off of more animal-like patterns and not including so many human characteristic as I did, but while drawing them, their story stuck with me and eventually I decided, they're my characters, I can do whatever I want with their lives.
