Finally...after 2 years of dabbling in coloring styles and learning techniques from all kinds of artistic sources....I've finally locked down a coloring style that I not only enjoy working in and is very comfortable, but has a look to it that I really like as well.Now, to practice and perfect it! This is a WIP of an Ultragirl sketch I decided to practice with.

Yep. You're right. It's a light orange-ish goldish color. I was just playing with color saturations on this piece as practice.

As this is a WIP, I'm guessing you'll be rendering the hair too? Feels unfinished to me, but otherwise, great work. Really does compliment your lines.

Hair, Lips, Eyes, and Green Trim on her uniform still needs to be rendered, but she was just practice really. I fully rendered piece will be up later today, but I'll be posting the WIP shortly.

Great coloring style my friend. Really suits your lineart. Looks like a mix of cell shading and digital paints. If by chance you have any questions...don't hesitate to ask. Coloring is my favorite part of starting a piece, hehe.

Thanks, Eugene! This is a style that can be reduced to something quick and simple with just a couple of layers or go crazy complicated with a ton of layers if need be.
