and u are right, the sky is the most balanced, and the exposure was mainly there
i had to dodge the street and the statues
3 shot would have been fantastic, maybe if i visit again i will be able to do it

I think it's perfect the way it is and I find the statues and light post being dark, to add a bit of it's own thing to the photo. I love it.

This is an interesting piece. The way the storm clouds compete with the light gives it am almost surreal feel. I half expect Jack the Ripper or Dracula to come strolling into view.

This isn't reality anymore, it's a digital painting. I'm really really into how dark the front of the picture is, because the statues look like they are really in motion. What's kind of weird is that light area to the right where there are those tents... I think they kind of throw the balance of the picture off... just a thought.

Phenomenal. I love the lighting on the cherubs! It's gentle and subtle enough that they look as though they might melt from their stone forms and start moving at any moment. Especially with the clouds of impending doom rolling towards them
