Description
Just some random birds and snakes.
I was playing Stories: the path of destinies, and i love the raven soldiers in it! They made me remember a kenku from an old Tumblr that had the funniest expressions I’ve ever seen on a bird. So i tried to draw some different Kenku faces, not all look like Ravens or Crows but i quite like them.
Then we have the big ass snakemen, i wanted to draw a new more animalistic version of my lizardmen. But the faces are really hard to make, the rounder one on top looks to cute for it! I think i'm going to digitalize it and play around with it's eyes, it could have a dozen of different expressions with only that! But for the character i think that the pointy ones are better.
And of course a sad boar with a Mohawk, cuz why not ?
So what you guys think? Anyone here that I should make into a character? And what type of snake face you liked the most?

Hi there!
As usual, I come from ProjectComment to give you some constructive feedback on your work.
It is not easy to give you much feedback as this is a sketch page rather for studies or exercise than a finished artwork I could spot any mistakes. That said, I like your sketch page. You filled it with a lot of concepts you seemed to be enjoying. It's always a good attitude to be wanting to fill your whole sketch page even if the concepts you draw are not of one and the same idea.
You decided to draw a bunch of facial expressions for the kenku from different perspectives and drew their claws as well. There's not much to criticise, they all look nice except the bottom right one... this one looks like it's been hit in the head with a pan and flattened out, the beak also looks different but that might just be a way to have fun with artistic freedom.
The Mohawk boar looks adorable :3
The snakeman is clearly different from the other practice. you tried out different head and eyeshapes and tried to incorporate the physique into human body shapes. For the head shapes, I like the top one the most (of the three in the corner) and for the design of the snake man, I'd suggest to go either in the direction of making it purely bipedal but have its body balanced so that it doesn't look like it would fall over if put into realization. A little tip: if you make the head big and the neck long, you should do the same with its tail; make it large and thick to balance this weight out or try out very dynamic posing of the body. Take a look at snake man concept designs on the internet for further ideas and ways to present this creature.
And lastly... I notice you didn't finish your sketch, was it because of time pressure? Because otherwise I always would recommend you to finish your sketch. Especially hands and feet are often overlooked, but you gotta draw them to get the experience from your practice.
I hope you found my feedback useful and I wish you a nice day!

What do I think?
I think that lizard-person's face on the bottom corner looks cute, but I'm weird like that.
Also, I don't see why you can't make them all characters. Could have yourself a tribe of lizardmen and Kenkus. Be one really big family.

That's a good idea!
A tribe of mix creatures would be pretty good too!
