I don't hate Kaname-sama, to be honest, he's one of my favorite characters. It's just that Ruka is behaving like a boy I like. Once you've done something very intamite, in our world, sex, or in VK, sharing blood, you really can't get them out of your heart. And a lot of people hate Kaname, but I don't think he'd kill you. Zero-kun prolly would.

Kaname is probably one of the most complex character ever: he seems the perfection among the perfect race of the vampires, but he hides a dark abyss of suffering and lonelyness. More than hate, he gives me the sensation he would give to another vampire, a whole of reverence and fear. And i think that when two people share something important, the two of them remain indissolubly tied, no matter what happen, no matter if they forget. But between Ruka and Kaname there isn't been a real sharing... She could never have in exchange what she gave to Kaname and it wasn't only blood. I was glad when she recognised it, not because now she could stay with Kain but because it was the right thing for her. In my opinion, Matsuri Hino is a genius in creating profound characters, with a whole world in them.

I totally agree with you about Kaname-sama and Ruka-chan. But in the the world of VK, sharing blood between vampires, is one step above sex. So Ruka-chan giving Kaname-sama her blood, would be kinda like a one night stand, sorta. And when you think about it, Kaname-sama was wasting away because vampires need their true love's blood to survive, and at that point, the thought of taking Yuki's blood appalled him. I'm very glad Ruka-chan has realised that Kaname-sama will never love her, but she needs to wake up and see that Akatsuki has been waiting there with open arms all along.
And by the way, I do think Kaname-sama is amazing, but I'm a die hard Zero-kun fan girl, if you could tell.
