"For years, Starfleet has held dominion over Equestria ever since they merged their world with theirs. Those same years, they believed themselves untouchable. Any threat that came, they'd handle in their own unchanging way and everybody would have to deal with it, as well as their supreme arrogance that they were better than anybody else in every way, especially power. Lightning Dawn, especially, considering he was considered the strongest next to Grand Ruler Celesto.

But things have taken a change. Something came from the stars. A demon from the cosmos. Something that carried a grudge so deep that nothing would sway it. A crystalline monstrosity made with the DNA of not just the Tree of Harmony, but of the King of the Monsters himself. Whatever it was, it had decimated Horn Kong just by awakening. And then there was what it did to Lightning's team.

The end result? Dyno and Myte were dead, Rhymey was missing an arm, Artie Bristles hands were destroyed, and the rest were utterly demoralized. Grand Ruler would do his best to hide the true extent of this monster's damage, but it was too late. United Equestria had received a grim reminder that their actions had consequences.

Call it what you will. SpaceGodzilla...Mokushiroku...either way, the reckoning had only just started."
