so yeah, i figured being a fire pokemon his natural temperature would be rather high, so standing in fire as an arcanine wouldnt even be a thing. but humans have a lower body temp. and being human he would feel what heat is for the first time. and if youve ever jumped into a hot tub.... its pretty... shocking. this is pretty much my reaction to hot tubs many years agoso thats my logic behind this~
