a piece thats different for my usual for this month's Oc-Art-trade !i got AlexandeNight for this month, and i wanted to apologize - usually i do digital pieces for my trade submissions, but my computer is on its last leg and since i suspect its a hard drive issue (running VERY slow, loud whirring but the fan is clean etc), i don't want to leave it on longer than i need to. i have full intention of colouring this digitally when i get it fixed or have access to a friend's computer, but i hope this is okay for now! i shoddily edited it on my phone because i don't have many coloured pencils or art markers that were accurate to gyra's colours. also i messed up the legs pretty bad because i lined the wrong lines while editing the pose OTL. but i loooooove gyra so i'm hoping to draw her again soon!!

I really like how relaxed she is in this pic, like she's got a day all to herself, and is enjoying every bit of it. I enjoy that she's munching on a snak too. The traditional media is cute ^^ quite skillfull.

im glad you like it! i was pretty nervous about submitting a traditional piece for the exchange, especially since its been forever since i last worked with coloured pencils. she was super fun to draw, right up my alley in terms of tomboyish girls! she seems like a tough hard working kind of woman so i wanted to see what she might be like while relaxing. (:

You really captured her well! I don't know what you're nervious about, you have excelent traditional skills~and it's a more challenging medium than digital (topic on my mind because I participate in Inktober XD)
XD I'm rather partial to tomboyish girls as well~they're..comforting?
That she is, she's on the go a lot~ back when she lived in her village, she'd sneak out at night into Ferindale forest just to get some alone time~ (even though they thought the place was curesed) So this picture really captured her well!
