Some people have expressed interest in seeing my process, so here it is!

Finished work here, steps explained below:

(I omitted the sketches)

Step 1: Lines and flats
Step 2: Main Light + AO
Step 3: Fill in a bit of background + derpy wolf
Step 4: Reconsider light
Step 5: Color Correction
Step 6: Liquify + Main Light. At this Point, I had flattened everything and was painting on one layer.
Step 7: Paint in Wolf pup + Touch up background
Step 8: Necklace + Glow
Step 9: I originally wanted it to finish earlier, but then I felt the forest wasn't interesting enough so I added some wildlife such as birds and fireflies to bring it to life.
