Context: This takes place in the past, a month after Tenn came to Indigo to permanently live there. At this stage, they're just Best Friends, but that's how it always starts out. He offered her a place to stay, which was Dlaxus' huge residence overlooking the beautiful vibrant blue ocean. She has her own room with her belongings she brought.

Tenn's POV;

It has been several intervals since I've arrived at this planet. It's so different, so vibrant. Full of life. My guide to this new world is no other than the individual who rescued me from that wretched planet I was left to die on. Dlaxus took me to a place called the Marina boardwalk out near the shoreline of the city. It was full of shops and people all happily living their lives while walking along the scenery of the vibrant blue ocean and cool breezes. He showed me several live performances of groups that played the curious sounds known as music. Then we ate and relaxed on the sands. He is a very unique individual. Very creative at that. But as I started hanging out more with him and getting closer, I get this deep sinking feeling in my chest. I'm not sure what this means. What is this is feeling? I need to do more research...

Dlaxus' POV;

It's been nearly a month after Tenn returned to Indigo, and I became her personal tour guide and mentor. She's such a funny buggo. I took her to the Marina boardwalk and showed her around. She was very curious about everything happening around her. It was all new to her. I can't recall if the Irkens even have an Entertainment Industry, being a hyper militaristic society with no time for fun. We had a great time, she seemed to really enjoy the sights and sounds, and seeing her smile makes me feel on cloud 9, or cloud tenn in this case *chuckles*. *Sigh* yeahhh that was a terrible joke. But we came home exhasted, exchanged some words and headed to our rooms to sleep. My heart aches, I feel so....I feel so in love...

Tenn's POV;

Here I am, lying in my bed which was so soft and silky. The most comfortable I've ever felt. But, that doesn't come close as to being in his arms *shudders* wait huh?! When did that slip out? What on Irk is going on? First this strange deep feeling in my chest, and now stuff I just say without even thinking? W-what is going on. According to my research earlier, these symptoms are associated with a Human emotion called love. But, what is love? Not even the vast amount of Irken knowledge downloaded to us in smeethood know of this. But I'm sure it can be something else. We Irkens don't form these types of relationships, let alone with another race. But I can't help it. These thoughts race through my mind. B-but *yawn* I'm too exhasted to keep going. I'm drifting off. So....*yawn*..........what is love..........

"She drifts off to dreamland, not knowing this was the beginning of a new chapter in her life. She is now falling in love for the first time, and the same can be said for him."
